Life, is finding order, within our chaos.

I’m Ashton Springer—a British Artist and Creative Wellness Advocate based in Stockholm. I specialise in maximalist art, driven by a deep commitment to my wellbeing and personal growth.

From an early age, I wrestled with self-doubt and destructive habits, shaped by internalised feelings of abandonment and rejection. But through art, routine, discipline, and wellness, I found a way to transform my chaos into something meaningful.

Now, my work is dedicated to helping others do the same—finding clarity and balance through creative expression, structure, and self-discipline.

Simplify life. Maximise Creative Expression.

Long Live, The Child Within.

From as early as I can remember, I’ve been connected to a pen in some way. One of my earliest memories is from when I was five years old—I sat down to recreate the VHS cover of my favourite film at the time, Peter Pan. I focused intently, trying my best to replicate every detail. When I was done, my mum was amazed.

Even at that age, my ability to perceive and translate what I saw onto paper was undeniable. It was a skill I kept exploring throughout my childhood—though I had no idea at the time that art would become my way of processing the complex emotions I struggled with. As a sensitive child, I often felt things I couldn’t explain, but drawing allowed me to be fully present. It was a space where I could just be.

I carried that creativity into my teenage years, eventually studying Art & Design at Barnet College, Wood Street, before moving on to the University of Hertfordshire, where I studied Graphic Design & Illustration.

University was where my artistic voice truly began to emerge. But before I found my aesthetic, I battled with self-doubt—constantly comparing myself to the more advanced creatives in my class. It was a struggle, but through perseverance and resilience, I pushed through. Over time, I refined my voice, my style, and my confidence as an artist, creating a vast universe along my journey.

Self-awareness Is The
Foundation
To Self Mastery.

February 2020.

I hit the proverbial wall. Anxiety and despair were constant companions, passivity a familiar foe. Each morning, I woke up with a racing mind, overthinking everything, paralysed by the weight of my own thoughts, my own life, my own inability to break free from the cycle.

Through deep reflection, I realised what I was missing: Routine. Structure. Self-discipline. My erratic habits had to be replaced with a wellness routine—one that nurtured my spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As creatives, we need a strong foundation, a stable and safe space where our creativity can truly thrive.

From this revelation, I built the pillars that would lead me out of mediocrity. I made a decision: I wanted to be exceptional in every aspect of my life. And to do that, I had to live with intention, discipline, and purpose.

Controlled Chaos: The Mental Framework Behind My Routine.

Our routine is only as strong as the mental system that supports it.

As I deepened my wellness practice, I realised I wasn’t just building habits—I was shaping my own philosophy. Without meaning to, I had created a personal framework of values, principles, and beliefs around wellness. It wasn’t something I planned. It just happened.

I often ask myself, “How have I stayed this disciplined and consistent for so long?” The answer became clear: Before my transformation, I lacked a solid mental foundation. My actions were dictated by how I felt each morning—there was no structure, no guiding force, just freestyle decisions based on fleeting emotions.

When motivation wavers, I don’t rely on willpower alone. I lean on this framework—one that has kept me anchored for five years without fail. It’s more than just a mindset; it’s a way of living that works in complete harmony with my mind, body, and soul.

I call it Controlled Chaos.

Two words that encapsulate an entire system—a balance between discipline and creative freedom, structure and spontaneity. This philosophy has taken me to levels of consistency I once thought were impossible. To dive deeper into this mental framework, click here.

If you don’t stand on solid ground, how can you jump with belief?
